An excellent conditioning agent restoring softness to the skin. Ours is 100% natural Valine, vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant. 

A plant lipid (fat) extracted from the Shea tree used as a moisturizer to protect and replenish the skin.  Shea butter provides a rich texture and is filled with saturated and unsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants, including quercetin, epicatechin gallate, gallocatechin, epigallocatechin, vitamin E and vitamin A. Ours is EcoCert approved, vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A natural alkane that replaces silicone or dimethicone to create hydration and glide.  Also known as Coconut Alkanes/Coco-Caprylate/Caprate. It is made from vegetable feedstock. Ours is EcoCert approved, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A well-known and well-studied, hypoallergenic plant oil that hydrates skin and helps decrease visible redness.  Castor oil is unusually high in ricinoleic acid, an unsaturated omega-9 fatty acid. Its unique chemical structure causes the oil to be both hydrophilic (water-loving) and lipophilic (fat-loving), allowing much better penetration into the surface layers of skin than other vegetable oils feeding the skin. We only use the highest-grade castor oil. It is made from the seeds of castor beans by hydraulic pressing.  No solvents are used to extract the oil. The hypoallergenic extract from a medicinal herb (Indian pennywort and gotu kola) with powerful antioxidants that soothe skin irritation, improve skin barrier function, increase hydration, minimize scarring and aid in restoring skin. Mimics ceramides present in the skin that preserve epidermal water content and strengthen the cohesion force of epidermal cells. It helps restore skin barrier function and decreases water loss filling in the intercellular spaces between skin cells. Ours is vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant. 

An emollient derived from sustainably sourced coconut or palm kernel oil, used to improve skin hydration and the texture of the cream. Ours is non-GMO, biodegradable, COSMOS approved, vegan and Proposition 65 compliant.

Made with fatty acids from olive oil and sugar, it is used to maintain balance of oils and water.  When mixed with sorbitan olivate the combination mimics the skin’s lipid bilayer leading to improved absorption.  Ours is vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A plant-derived acid used to maintain the pH of products. It is a weak acid, found naturally in all citrus fruits. Ours is USP grade, vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant

An ultra mild cleansing agent made from coconut fats and sugars. It is a natural, non-ionic, surfactant and one of the most gentle of the cleansing agents, making it ideal for fragile or sensitive skin. Ours is obtained from 100% renewable vegetable origin of coconut, corn or palm, vegan, non-GMO, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant. 

Extracted from the meat of the coconut, this plant-based moisturizing oil is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants to replenish dehydrated skin. Coconut oil is free of volatile components that can irritate skin and cause allergy.  Clinical studies show coconut oil helps restore the skin, visibly diminish wrinkles and other signs of aging. The extract of the fruit of the coconut tree, rich in fatty acids, proteins, and complex B vitamins to feed the skin. Combined with Lactobacillus it helps naturally inhibit microbial growth. Ours is EcoCert-approved, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A mild cleansing agent made from a combination of coconut based fatty alcohols (c8-16) and glucose. It is a natural, non-ionic surfactant suitable for sensitive skin. Ours is made from 100% renewable plant origin, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A vegan, hypoallergenic wax that is rich in free fatty acids that can easily be absorbed by the skin to protect and aid in its repair. Ours is sustainably harvested from the Euphorbia cerifera botanical, better known as the small, wild Candelilla shrub. It is a GRAS ingredient, designated safe for human consumption by the USFDA, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A poly-hydroxy acid that removes the dead cells from the outermost layer of the skin, resulting in a smoother, brighter, complexion. It is also a humectant, attracting water to the skin making it a gentler choice than alpha and beta hydroxy acids. Ours is EcoCert, non-GMO, vegan, halal, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

An important natural component of the skin, glycerin combined with emollients speed healing, reduce irritation and restores normal skin barrier function.  The vegetable glycerin we use is harvested from sustainably farmed palm oil trees and is United States Pharmacopeia (USP) grade.  This is the highest grade available, making it acceptable for food, drug or medicinal use.  It is also non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

The most effective and well-researched form of alpha hydroxy acid, it removes dead skin, activates cell turnover, and increases hyaluronic acid production in the skin. Ours is non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A biodegradable, vegetable wax from castor seeds that protects and hydrates skin while increasing the stability of emulsions. Ours is non-GMO, EcoCert, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

An emollient made with the fatty acids from jojoba seed oil.  Shown to reduce skin redness, improve skin hydration, and restore skin barrier function. Ours is non-GMO, COSMOS approved, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A probiotic that helps prevent the growth of unwanted bacteria and yeast and also helps soothe skin inflammation and irritation in a similar action as probiotics. Ours is sustainably grown, EcoCert, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

A probiotic extract to naturally prevent the growth of unwanted bacteria and fungus while calming the skin. Derived from Leuconostoc Kimchii & Raphanus Sativus, commonly known as radishes, ours is sustainably harvested, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant. 

Made by plants through the degradation of cellulose to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms. It is transformed by our skin biome into other helpful substances, including the moisturizing ingredient trehalose. A non-fragrant, emollient and skin softening vegetable oil with long-chain fatty acids similar to those found in skin, making them easy to absorb. Among plant oils,  it has the highest concentration (95%) of these fatty acids as well as glucosinolate derivatives that inhibit collagen breakdown in skin.  Ours is sustainably harvested, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant. 

An effective skin-restoring vitamin shown to improve skin barrier function, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, redness and irritation. Made from corn sugar, it is a humectant and emollient that improves absorption of key ingredients to boost their effectiveness in skin. Ours EcoCert approved, non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.

Derived from willow tree bark this multifunctional ingredient is a famous exfoliant but in lower percentages as we use it, a humectant as well that hydrates and calms the skin and minimizes the appearance of an uneven skin tone. Ours is non-GMO, vegan, biodegradable and Proposition 65 compliant.
